Benjamin Abrams has a number of research interests, spanning the sociology of social change and democracy, critical theory, comparative and historical sociology, mass media, political communication and social theory
His PhD research is a comparative historical study of social change in France, Egypt and the USA.
Benjamin currently serves as the Editor of Contention, The Multidisciplinary Journal of Social Protest, and on the governing board of the Interdisciplinary Network for Social Protest Research (INSPR).
