PhD Student at the Scott Polar Research Institute (SPRI) under Dr. Michael Bravo.
My research examines the conservation of polar bears - asking why we should conserve them, and what it is that we are really conserving? It engages with questions of how societies conceptualise and value species, as well as the changing human/wildlife engagements in the Anthropocene.
My research interests include: wildlife conservation; political ecology; science & tech. studies; Arctic governance; human-animal studies; conservation social science; hybrids.
