ESRC DTC Visual Communication exhibition, Fri 11 March 2016: call for posters
Following the success of a pilot academic poster exhibition and competition, the School of the Humanities and Social Sciences’ ESRC Doctoral Training Centre invite you to take part in their academic poster exhibition and competition, as part of its Visual Communication Exhibition on 11 March.
Why submit a poster?
As useful preparation for the summer conference season, this exhibition gives you a chance to receive valuable feedback from academic judges to enhance your poster before you present it at a conference.
The judging criteria for selecting posters for the exhibition are:
i) aesthetic appearance
ii) communication of research content to non-expert audience.
Please note, there is no overall theme for the exhibition.
- At the exhibition, a panel of judges will select the 3 best posters according to these criteria, with £50 book tokens being awarded.
- Please submit an electronic version of your poster to Matt Lane at: email@example.com by 9am on Monday 7 March
- The electronic versions can be in either Powerpoint or as a PDF (The DTC will cover the cost of printing the poster, if it is selected for display.)
- You may want to review this film to help you create your poster: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GJwcVWszLC4
