Cambridge ESRC DTC Student Conference: New Forms of Data: innovation in the social sciences
We are pleased to announce that this year's ESRC-DTC student conference will be taking place on Friday 2nd December 2016.
All students at any stage of their research and studies are invited to attend the ESRC-DTC student conference: 'New forms of data: Innovation in the social sciences'.
The conference will include presentations from students working in all ESRC-funded fields and disciplines and will provide a forum to discuss the challenges of data collection, interpretation and analysis, as well as the communication of research in public and academic domains. There will also be a panel session from DTC students nearing the completion of their degrees, who will be discussing how students can engage with these innovations during their studies in order to build more informed and impactful research.
Confirmed speakers include: Professor Peter Fussey (Department of Sociology, University of Essex), Zhi Soon (Principle Advisor - The Behavioural Insights Team), and Dr David Stillwell (The Psychometrics Centre, University of Cambridge). We look forward to you joining us for a stimulating day - booking information to follow soon.
